Kerry Ricketts |
G’day, my name is Kerry Ricketts and I have been in the Automotive and Mining Industries for over 40 years. Since commencing my Auto Electrical Apprenticeship in 1973, I have worked in many facets of the Trade. I have gained a wide experience in fields including automotive, marine, heavy transport, mining and industrial. The knowledge I have gained along the way in both hands on experience and managerial roles has put me in good stead to be able to talk the talk with customers about their enquiries and offer the correct advice. I enjoy the challenge of finding solutions to customer’s special requirements. My other passions include V8 Super cars, golf and beer gardening !! |
Michael Sugden |
Hi, my name is Michael Sugden. I started working at Battery Wise at the start of 2008 when I commenced my Auto Electrical apprenticeship. Since completing my apprenticeship I have continued to gain valuable knowledge and experience about batteries regarding their fitment and different applications, as well as invaluable auto electrical skills. I keep up to date with the latest technology on power and accessory options for the outdoors, including but not limited to solar, dual battery systems and inverter options. I can tailor make systems to suit your individual requirements. I have always had a passion for cars in particular 4 WD’s and spend most weekends camping and off road 4x4ing in our local area. |

Shane Makowski

Hi, my name is Shane
Makowski. I have been in the automotive industry since 2005 after completing my
metal fabrication / engineering studies. I started my apprenticeship as an auto
electrician in 2006. I specialized in vehicle breakdown diagnostics and repair,
as well as 4x4 and caravan dual battery and accessories fit outs. I finished my
apprenticeship in early 2010, at which point I started my time here at Battery
Wise. Although I am no longer an apprentice I still actively keep up to date
with all new and developing technologies in the automotive industry by
attending regular training nights and keeping in touch with other industry
professionals so that I can offer you the best in diagnostic skills should your
vehicle break down, and advice on what would best suit you and your vehicle when planning any
dual battery system, solar
or accessory fit out to your car,4x4 or caravan.

Glen Adamson |
Hi, I’m Glenn Adamson and
I’ve been here at Battery Wise since mid 2012. My father owned a spare parts
and mechanical business all his life so I’ve been exposed to the automotive
industry from a very early age and have accumulated over 35 years of experience
within the industry and in particular the retail side of things. I have gained
even more knowledge since working with Kerry and the crew and I learn something
new every day which is essential to keep up with the ever-changing technology
within the battery industry.

My name is Julie Ricketts and I have been working in our family business for 11 years. I am mainly responsible for the accounts and administration side of the business and I enjoy talking to the customers. Through multi skilling I have gained a good product knowledge along the way and when I’m not working I enjoy a round of golf or a day at the races. I follow the NRL footy and barrack for Broncos, Titans and Cowboys and any other team that has a Queenslander in it. |
